MARKETING
Over the years, our PR and marketing campaigns for lifestyle, hospitality, and real-estate brands generated coverage in The New York Times, New York Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine, Vogue, New York Post, Saveur, Wine Spectator, Eater, NBC Sports, Newsweek, LA Times, San Fransisco Chronicle, The Baltimore Sun, and many of the country’s leading culture and news outlets. At the same time, we built a branding practice that also included packaging and product design for retail launches.
Our New York restaurant clients included il Buco, Balthazar, Pastis, Morandi, and Pravda, among others. We led the PR and marketing for Balthazar’s and Pravda’s 10-year anniversaries—both becoming true city moments with lines around the block—and transformed il Buco’s annual pig roast from a small neighborhood gathering into a sold-out, city-wide event.
We also launched and marketed il Buco’s retail line of olive oil, vinegar, and salt—earning widespread national gift-guide coverage and repeatedly selling out product. That work took us to Italy with il Buco founder Donna Lennard, and helped shape one of the earliest mainstream narratives around farm-to-table culture—well before it became part of everyday language. Editorial partnerships, including with Edible Manhattan and Travel Weekly, grew directly out of this work and ultimately led us into long-form storytelling and television development.
Our campaigns have also extended beyond hospitality. We represented celebrity psychic Judi Hoffman following her prediction of the Eliot Spitzer scandal on NPR, and created national editorial campaigns tied to the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes. In real estate, we represented eco-focused developer Greenstone, earning major features in outlets including the New York Post, New York Magazine, and Curbed about innovative design in Park Slope, Brooklyn, which was at that time, an up-and-coming neighborhood.
This body of work—launching products, shaping cultural moments, and telling stories around people and place — is what led our studio into television.
